I'm checking out Pureform's Power Green Pro pureformlabs.com/nutritition/index.php and want to know if anyone has tried it? Like it? Apparently it changes your body's pH and makes your system more alkaline (better for fat breakdown...) which is more beneficial than a more acidic environment (more friendly to cancer, degenerative diseases, etc...). BTW, this is from their data sheet, not me.
Your thoughts?
Thanks, Nauga.

Re: Anyone try Power Green Pro?
Mon, January 2, 2006 - 6:06 AMNauga,
I've never heard of that product, so I can't say Yay or Nay. However, I can say that I advise people to never try to radically DO or UNDO anything that (INSERT YOUR GOD HERE) has already set in motion. Our bodies can be adjusted, but when you lift the hood too many times to try new things, you can be asking for trouble.
My personal vote is NO, but that's just me. :)

Re: Anyone try Power Green Pro?
Fri, January 13, 2006 - 12:02 PMI have been using something similar - LightForce High Energy Greens Supplement - and changed my diet to be more alkaline for the last month or so. This isn't "changing God's design", it's just countering some of the hard things we do to our bodies by eating highly acidic diets. The ingredients are pretty much just powdered natural greens.
I did it to get more endurance for jujitsu and it really seems to make a difference. The added bonus health effects sound pretty cool too!
I say give a greens drink a try - either the one you listed, the one I use, or one of the others out there. Good luck!

Mon, January 16, 2006 - 12:56 AMHere are some links that should give you an idea of the principles of the diet. There is a lot of conflicting info out there so I went out and bought three books and figure I will go with what is common for all three :-) :
